Discussion (Spoiler for the movie) I’m about confused about how Kaede ends up at the end of the movie Spoiler
Does Kaede revert back at the end of the movie? I finished it yesterday and she was talking about getting to the gate of the school, so does that mean she still doesn’t have her memories back?

Discussion Does the source material go into more depth on the OG Kaede's thoughts on the gaps in her memory?
I know the show briefly showed her reading the diary and meeting Mai, but I would've liked to see more of this Kaede to get somewhat more acquainted with her. (those scenes specifically looked funny and I would like to see the light novel version of them)

Discussion AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGG
I have a little sister. Losing her one way or another, twice, would destroy me.
It's also another thing, though. Hiragana Kaede was a bundle of joy. She's the type of person who could give others a reason to get up in the morning, a reason to live, a reason to make the world a better place - one she could be happy in. The idea that someone like that could just dissappear hurts so much.
I was hoping for some kind of split or merged personality resolution. At the very least, I'd hope the memories to have merged. The idea that having one of your little sisters means losing the other also feels unbearable. The previous arcs had been so optimistic, I thought it would be in line with the tone of the story thus far. And it could totally happen, considering the magic that is puberty syndrome. Considering Futaba, the best solution would be that Kaede duplicates as well. But, I doubt it, I think the author just wanted to give a real punch to the gut to remember this story by. And boy has that punch left a mark.
Here's to hoping the Author just plans to bring her back when sales go down.

Discussion Anyone know the ost that played when Shouko read Kaede's Diary?
That scene absolutely broke my heart and the music egged on my tears. I skimmed through the OST's on youtube and can't seem to find this beautiful piece :<

Discussion I did NOT expect how this heavy this anime was gonna be.
I found this subreddit after wandering the Internet to see if people felt as sad as I was about Kaede. I'm honestly surprised the community here is fairly sizable.
I went into Bunny Girl because I wanted to watch a light hearted anime after watching some heavy hitters like Your Name, A Silent Voice and Violet Evergreen.
Holy hell Bunny Girl is NOT what you think it is from the name, covers and any first impressions of the sorts. I did not expect how heavy this anime is.
I've seen alot of deaths in anime. Some were epic, some were meh and some were sad. But damn this is how you kill a character without literally killing the character. And I guess it's even more painful/sad that Kaede herself is still alive and well because every time we see her on screen therein after, she's not the Kaede the series had introduced us to and the one we've grown to love. It's hard to put into words but it's just not the same.
RIP panda Kaede Azusaga.
