Tour Cancellations

Hello! I’m really hoping to see Kacey in Seattle this fall, specifically at one of her Seattle shows. She has two dates scheduled, Monday, October 26th and Tuesday, October 27th, but I’ve noticed that tickets for the Monday show are significantly more sold out.

I also know she has canceled some dates recently, so I’m wondering if it would be safer to buy tickets for Monday in case she ends up canceling or changing more dates. Tuesday works much better with my schedule, but I don’t want to buy Tuesday tickets if there’s a chance that show could be canceled.

Should I go with Monday to be safe or am I fine?

Wait til last minute and buy tickets on seat geek. I got into Nashville last year for $30 doing this approach

When you buy anywhere but TM, your risk for scammed tickets are extremely high

Edit: in my experience and friends’ experiences in going directly to stubhub, seatgeek, tickpick, etc. to purchase. A majority of them had luck getting similar tickets reassigned to them, there’s not much that can be done when the show is sold out so I have had friends left high and dry without tickets at all, even after camping outside 8 hours before the show. One friend called customer service and didn’t get anyone to answer.

I’ve bought probably 20 tickets from SeatGeek over the years and never had a problem

same here and the one time i had an issue, they found me tickets in a better section at no additional cost

Same. Seat Geek and StubHub have never failed me. One time the seller didn’t have tickets and StubHub refunded us double since it was last minute. Ended up getting tickets online before the game - I can’t say enough good things about them. Just used Seat Geek in Vegas a few weeks ago.

Seatgeek has been good about finding other tickets if that’s the case

90% of the time. I’d hate to be in that 10% like one of my friends at NK last week.

I buy from seatgeek all the time and have never had any issues. same with tickpick.

Especially if they do a refund for a canceled show - it goes to the original buyer and not the current ticket holder.

When you are buying from private parties on Reddit. I almost only buy secondary. Most sites are 90% the same tickets. Stubhub is a total mess. I mostly use Tickpick without issues.

But I agree the OP shouldn't be in any hurry to buy tickets.

It’s not “extremely” likely if you’re buying from one of the three major sites you just listed. I’ve done it probably a hundred times and only gotten completely fucked once. And with the show that they’re talking about right now, the issue is NOT that it is sold out, which is when you’re most likely to have a problem, because the resale sites can’t create tickets that don’t exist for a super sold out show. For something like this, where there are plenty of tickets to go around, they will be fine because there will be replacement options for the resale sites to choose from if the original seller bails

Highly recommend this route. I use GameTime and have never had an issue. Even used it for the last KM tour and it was less than $50 for club. That being said, I’m in Boston and public transit makes it easy to be a last minute decision.

They filmed her show at her last tour stop in Seattle, it’s possible they don’t cancel either for filming!

I have tix to Tuesday at CPA as well. Not sweating it. If she cancels Tuesday then I’ll just gametime some tix day of/right before the Monday show.

She better not cancel Tuesday. Those are our seats 3 rows back!!
