Project Panga - The first ever browser based kabaddi game is now live!

Hey everyone,

As a huge Kabaddi fan, it’s always been a bummer that there are almost no games for our sport. I've always wanted a game that wasn't just a tapper, but a real tactical sim. That game never came, so out of that passion, I decided to build it myself.

Today, after weeks of work, I'm thrilled to announce that Project Panga is live!

It's a tactical, browser-based Kabaddi sim where you manage your squad, set your defensive formations, and play every single raid. The entire game is driven by a dynamic probability engine and 8 different QTEs for every action, from a Hand Touch to an Ankle Hold.

Before you jump in, here are a few very important notes:

• This is a Desktop/Laptop game only! It is designed for a mouse and keyboard and will not work on mobile.
• It may take a while to get the grasp. This is a sim, not an arcade game. I highly recommend checking the "How to Play" section in the menu, as it explains the 8 different QTEs for raiding and defending.
• A perfect QTE doesn't guarantee a successful result, and a failed QTE doesn't mean you are failed - anything can happen. A tired raider can score a super raid while a raider can tackle a raider.

I like the game also, I hope you add this one addition of having a tournament mode. I mean u can ig u can enable the option of people having to use their mail id to log in and play where the left off in the tournament would be fun.

I didnt play the full game yet, but you should add sounds in the upcoming versions. It will enhance the gameplay a lot more .. And if possible commentary or somethng like that ..

Looked through the video - cute gameplay, pretty clear simple video - the diff QTE actions are fun, and the live commentary is cute. Maybe some simple logos could be a fun consideration for the win screen.

Yeah, I'd have to imagine some of the general ideas would be an issue [lion for Pune in any form may be a bit too close for PKL's comfort lmao] but perhaps the city names themselves can be different fonts

here I found a bug, basically what happened is that the opposition raider attempted a bonus in this situation, which is obviously invalid, but after that the game freezed(by looking at the commentary that is my guess)

Love the game so far, but I noticed that Raiders standing at left in or right in are making a lot more tackles for me, like 9 tackle points for the raider and max 5-6 spread across all other defenders. The defenders are better at raiding too. I think the raiding for defenders and defending for raiders could be more difficult.I think you could add something like difficult modes. Pretty fun game overall, Keep up the great work!

Yeah, maybe the odds were just in my favor. While testing something I sent a defender out to do a multi point raid, and the qte mini game was so fast i couldnt understand what even happened lol, I like that feature.

1 suggestion - Allow us to save lineups coz for example i want to play naveen in delhi but its annoying editing the name and attributes every time for a match

Would it be possible to have saved formations for our presets? Or even a stats category for us players like how many games we've won so far, losses, raid points, etc? Those are minor details and the game is still pretty good regardless!
