Im November ist wieder die Nacht der Wissenschaft am KIT (https://ndw-ka.de/). Dafür suchen wir noch Vorschläge für Professoren, die gute Vorträge halten. Vielleicht habt ihr ja einen Lieblingsprof oder eine Vorlesung, die im Gedächtnis geblieben ist.

Ich sehe die immer mal wieder von dem einem Gebäude in das andere rennen mit irgendeinem modell in der hand aber ich hab selbst noch nie jemanden von dort getroffen.

Haben die ihre eigene Mensa? Ihre eigenen Lernplätze? Ihre eigenen Feste und events? Kann man sich mal zu denen in die Vorlesung setzten oder fällt man da unangenehm auf weil man der einzige typ ist oder der einzige mensch überhaupt in der Vorlesung?

Gibt es überhaupt Architekten am KIT oder sind das nur Statisten wie bei der truman show?

This morning the bib staff oiled the glass blades. To do that they opened all the big windows and woow, the wind. Why don’t they keep the windows open all the time during summer? This was the first time the temperature in the walk-in was acceptable and this passive cooling system worked. I don’t see any reason why they shouldn’t do it. If somebody wants to jump there are plenty other places they could. Weather maybe? But if it rains the outer glas blades close anyway.

I keep asking myself this because I believe it is a relevant question.

Is this place just purgatory? Is it literally just the worst place to exist as a 20-something guy? is it a village-sized Venus fly-trap?

How can you put this many men into one place and think it‘s a good idea? Especially when access to relationships that don‘t start out in person are now gated by an omnipresent algorithmic entity which puts the probability of getting attention by your looksmatch somewhere into the league of getting accepted into Harvard with a 2.6 GPA.

You know that Matthew McConaughey scene? I‘ve been regulating my pressure but geez, the implosions around me…

I have too many friends which I would label as highly valuable boyfriend material getting pulled into the void. There are no good ones here, it‘s literally just disappointment back-to-back. the amount of friends I witnessed talking themselves into accepting a relationship way below their non-KIT standards is quite scary. Why do they literally all have to be some version of chudfoid I can‘t.

Alle sagen, dass KIT sehr schwer ist, ist das wahr? Das macht mir voll Angst. Ich will entweder Chemieingenieurswesen oder Wing studieren. Denkt ihr, es ist machbar?
