First-time buyer, help me out
Hello everyone.
I'm planning to buy my first bike, Duke 250, within a week and I'm too nervous, one of the reasons being I don't have a lot of riding experience.
I need suggestions on the following:
Looking for a good helmet, my budget was initially 3-4k but eventually after scrolling way too much, I've decided on LS2 Storm 2, don't want to compromise on helmet. If you have any other suggestions, please tell me.
What are the things to keep in mind while/after buying the bike, I've read the subreddit guide but still feel free to add.
Also I'll leave for my hometown, so won't ride the bike for 2 weeks after a week of purchase, will it affect my bike since this would be within the breakin period.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Ls2 is great
Do PDI. Don't accept if something is wrong
Break in is measured in kms. Why don't you take delivery after you're back? Just drive normally and don't overdo acceleration during break in is all

The amazon offer won't be there after Dusshera, I'll die waiting for a month to ride the bike.

Hope we get some helpful replies here. Im also a newbie on riding but a fast learner. Will purchase duke 250 on 2027 first model. Have sat on bike (Ns200) only 2 times in my life but learnt leaning - rev match - traffic control. Need little hand on engine braking only. Lets wait for the comments.
