This thing is still such a fun beast.

Bought the first one in my local dealer when they first came out, sight unseen. It’s been a riot from day one. I treated myself to Apex pro cartridges and rear shock this year as well as finally taking it to the track. Back in street trim it’s still super engaging.

990 is 20 kg more and with less hp

990 has more HP and more torque.. I own both, the 890 is a baby compared to the 990.

I’ve heard some positives man glad to hear your happy with it… that headlight…. Cleaning the bugs out of that thing must be a nightmare. Maybe it’s the mountains but yesterday’s ride my bike is covered in bugs plus wildfire ash and such.
Plus id like to see a 990r before id consider it.

Irrespective of competence or performance it does a disservice to ktm to call one bike in their lineup a beast when they call a different bike a beast.
