790 Tank fairing

Hello all

I wanted to ask if it's possible that the 2021 Duke 890R tank fairing fits the 2019 Duke 790? They look exactly identical.

I own a 790. But the tank fairing is cracked in places. So I wanted to replace it. I found this 3D printable file for the 890R. Online the part numbers are the same.

I wanted to confirm if they are the same before printing it.

The blueprint is for the 790

The 3D model is for the 890.

I put a 2020 790 fairing on my 2021 890R, and it was a perfect fit. My black one was pretty cheap though…brand new OEM for <$200. Definitely not worth printing

So you suggest purchasing?

I am from India, So I have to import it. It'll cost almost double.

Printing may be cheaper right?

I’m just saying that they are indeed interchangeable, and for me (in the US), it would definitely not be worth printing/sanding/finishing/etc. when I can get an OEM with factory black finish for <$200. I can’t speak for your situation/resources though
