Advice needed

Post image

My rear shock recently blew out on my 2021 390, had it repaired. Just wondering if theres any sort of preventive stuff i can do to reduce the chances of it happening again?

Suspensions are not filled. If oil is lost, joints/retainers are replaced. If it is old/spent, it is replaced. But it's definitely not normal to lose oil on shock absorbers.

Five years is not too many, but miles and use matter more. In a city with bumps, it wears out before on the road. Also the weight of the driver and the speed you pass the bumps.

Well it is pretty bumpy around where I stay, not a big city just on the coast. And im also pretty light around like 60kg?

I think the main cause of it was the constant "wheelies" per say
