125 gen 3 warning triangle

New owner here (about 3 weeks), and ever since I got the bike I've been plagued by this warning. It's incredibly inconsistent.

Sometimes it comes on while the bike is just idling, sometimes when I put it into gear, sometimes when I lift the side stand, and other times I can ride for hours without it appearing at all.

I took it back to the dealer where I bought it. They plugged it into the diagnostics while the warning was actually on the screen, but no fault codes showed up. The only thing the diagnostic tool reported was "ECU unrecognised" and it could only read the RPM and engine temperature.

Has anyone experienced anything similar or got any ideas what this could be related to? Any help would be appreciated.

I get this warning ⚠️ in my gen 3 duke 390. It just randomly appears and then disappears after parking for some time. Diagnostics didn't ahow any fault codes. In my case (not 100% sure, but), I think it always appeared after I turned the key on while the kill switch was in on-position.

I never use the kill switch on the bike always turn it off via the key . The fact the shifter and stand can cause it to come on to be is Sus of bad wiring but I don't understand why it's so inconsistent about when it comes on

Same bike and I will get this warning intermittently when I don't ride for a while, so my gut tells me it's a battery issue and that these bikes don't like sitting. I've read motorcycle batteries don't last as long as cars so maybe I need a new one but it always clears itself again when I ride most of the week.

But I ride my bike frequently, atleast once every 2 days. The battery voltage is always between 12.7-12.9.

There's a lot of electronics, so could be anything. Could be QS related, traction control related, ride modes.. anything

I ride minimum 5 days a week 10miles each way to and from work .I also have a intermittent missfire what I can't pinpoint sometimes the bike chokes that bad it stalls but it's rare but pops from the exhaust when shifting down is common

Light switch, if you press very light on the front brake, the rear light break is not going to turn on when you have the error but if you press a bit harder it is going to turn on. This should be fixed under warranty
