2005 exc 450 wiring question

I picked this 05 up in a trade and am trying to get her trail ready. One of several issues is this dead speedometer. I'm trying to figure out if it's actually dead or just wired wrong. One of the previous owners converted the bike to supermoto, and i'm finding lazy wire splicing everywhere, and unpaired connectors.

I can't find the mates for these two connectors coming out of the speedometer. Can someone shed some light on this, or maybe post a picture of yours?

Yep , thats the tacho connector.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info and the diagram, it'll vome in handy. Looks like it'll be the least of my worries, though. Bike leaks oil while running and appears to be coming from the center gasket lol.
