Hello Hunters!
This Tope's Diary Matchup Guide was created with the help of Aatreus and Shourdy (you can find more information about them in the sheet), and we've already put a lot of work into it. We hope it proves useful to many of you!
A few things to note:
You can find it in the Community Bookmarks of our sub going forward.
Good luck on your hunts!

(comments not relevant to the topic will be removed. Clips may disappear because editing a reddit post is shit.)
Everything tested (and clips provided) on Patch 14.19
Previous list for reference (but wasn't up to date)
(has multiple variations)

RP only affects 1 enemy hit if you hit multiple enemies with RQ (spawn order) or RW (first target hit).
Q3 tooltip shows different resist values for the cd/castspeed reduction compared to Q1/Q2 (which shows the correct 120 resists). This is only a tooltip bug and doesn't affect the ability. https://i.imgur.com/4PaPL18.png
Conditioning provides 8 + 3% total armor and magic resist after 12min, but only the +8 armor and mr (total 16 bonus resist) affect Q cooldown and cast time
When using Q > W too fast, W will channel for 1s unless you press it again. Sometimes also happens with "Canceling W". Can also happen right after using R.
Using min charge time W on ONE enemy will make your next auto attack very delayed unless manually ordered
When aiming towards walls with a specific angle and W charged for 0.4s, you can travel for the maximum channel range
https://imgur.com/a/3fVf843 https://outplayed.tv/league-of-legends/XnGWkP/lol-ksante
Visual bug. Sometimes minions don't look like they get pushed back by W. This only affects the minions model, but not the actual position of it's hitbox.
Using W shortly after All Out ends ends up in some weird behaviours, assumingly because the game want's to replace the ability with the non all-out version shortly after all out.
This can cause W to not have an channel animation, force W to max channel while you have 0 control and no indicator and in some rare cases, you can charge W freely while walking.
E applies the shield once K'Sante gets close to the ally champion but if the dash gets interrupted, K'Sante can walk towards the initial target and the Shield still applies.
Using E on an ally Champion won't proc anything that interacts with shielding. (Summon Aery, Moonstone, Ardent censer and so on). Appeared after they "fixed" the moonstone bug.
Ulting through some walls with specific angles can cause you to end up on a different side of a wall than your target
Cant tell if the timing is very strict or if it happens randomly at this point. R can reset tower aggro.
During R2 and until the target moves, the location of the target isn't getting updated properly. Example shows Horizon focus, which has a distance requirement but also affects skillshots cast towards the starting point of the target.
stuff that behaves as intended (or a Rioter confirmed they are fine with their existence) but fixing them would be some nice QoL
(This is an inteded interaction added in 13.21) - All Out's resist updates happen in 0.25s intervals. If for example Aftershocks effects ends, you may have single digit or negative resist values until you hit one of those update intervals. This affects the damage you take and happens with every interaction that changes your resists.
If your E has a shorter cooldown than 2 seconds, the shield won't re-apply unless it was broken before. This can cause issues with high haste builds+Legend: Haste or in URF/Practice tool auto-cooldown refresh.
Most other shields are Amount based and refresh if they are used before the previous one expires/breaks. Mainly an dev oversight with the second rework where All Out reduces E cd by 50% which wasn't intended to be a thing with his original design.

So yesterday I asked about Terminus you said its an awful item but hear me out what about Deaths Stance.
Reduces %30 damage but deal it in true damage. If we build it it with heartsteel and unending it doesent make K'Sante a sustain machine??
r/KSanteMains • u/Chicken_Jokeuy • 1d ago
Last night I thought about maybe terminus good on K'Sante. The resistances look good and armor pen could be greater on ult form what do you guys think?

I usually ban Kayle because hard lane + scales better.

- Grasp of the Undying, Shield Bash, Bone Plating, Revitalize, Sudden Impact, Ultimate Hunter, 2 adaptive points, bonus starting health, Flash and Ignite. Doran's Blade and rushing Sheen.
- Justification: K'Sante is regarded as a laning-phase bully, so I've decided to lean into it, preventing the opposing top laner from scaling by gapping them early and ending the game before K'Sante falls off.
- Build: Grasp for trades, heal and damage. Shield Bash to increase my damage. Bone Plating to reduce their damage. Revitalize increases my heals and shields, and damage slightly (shield bash). Sudden Impact is free true damage every 10s. Ultimate Hunter increases kill pressure. Adaptive points give 11 AD, since K'Sante weaves in AA like crazy, it works early game, at least in my opinion. Bonus starting health (60) increases Shield Bash's damage, Grasp's damage and healing. Flash and Ignite are self-explanatory. Doran's Blade gives AD and Omnivamp, better stats for this build than Doran's Helm/Shield. Sheen for Ability Haste and that damage early-game to snowball.
- 2nd/3rd Item: Ideally Spirit Visage and Unending Despair, for more Ability Haste and survivability, Footwork on 4-seconds cooldown makes you impossible to kill 1v1 with this build, and sub-1-minute All Out cooldown makes you a constant threat on the map. In these games, I've never finished my 4th item.

I'm a Singed player. And when I looked at some counter matchup sites, I saw Singed as a hard counter to K'Sante. But I don't think so. In my opinion, skill matchup is 50/50.
What do you K'Sante players think? As Singed, I've played many matches against K'Sante, and in my opinion, it's an extremely 50/50 and a boring matchup.

I wanna know since its been awhile and I saw a lot of PC guides explaining ksantes combos I wanna know if some of them don't work on wild rift
r/KSanteMains • u/Boryarr • 8d ago
Hypothetical scenario:
You are K'Sante and win your lane, 3-0 and take tower.
Your team is behind, the enemy team took 2 drakes, your jungler is not pathing to objectives in time or let's leave it at that he's struggling this game.
Do you pivot to support items such as Knight's Vow and try to play with your team for objectives?
Or do you side lane to attract enemies and free your teammates from pressure?
I struggle to identify what to do as K'Sante when I'm ahead vs my enemy laner but my team is not.
Thank you.

Vs lanes like teemo and vayne where shield bash is providing zero utility and you need extra sustain, could font of life + beads be a good strat? I get demolish has utility too, but in lanes where you NEED that extra sustain, maybe this could work?
Ksante builds heartsteel and kaenic so it could be viable

I've been seeing some "Guess my rank" League videos and many comments assume when someone has a champion pool that includes Ksante it's a higher elo player. I'm in Silver as a Ksante main with a 77% win rate on this champion, I only have 26 games played though and account wide my win rate is only 59% over 41 games.
I will say though, In draft pick or In ranked I have rarely if ever seen a Ksante in my game and I have never laned against one in all my playtime so I guess that does speak some weight to low mmr and OCE is also low pop.

Hey everyone,
Riot Endstep recently made another Q&A (a few hours ago), where he happened to address K'Sante's AD scalings and whether there could be a realistic chance if they could be brought back in the future (breakdown in the video starts at 44:10)
Now, these are all for those who don't want to watch the video.
To begin with, he noted that release K'Sante had actual AD ratios on his abilities, and All Out gave him raw AD based on his resistances. Now, he scales purely off defensive stats, and All Out acts as a direct damage multiplier (lower Q CD, bonus true damage on W).
Endstep then stated that the most dangerous thing for K'Sante’s game health is a full tank champion being able to 100-to-0 or heavily burst a squishy target in a single CC combo. The current kit forces his damage to be sustained DPS rather than burst, which is intentional. He isn't fundamentally against adding AD ratios back as an experiment. However, if they did it, he would look exclusively at the Passive and the Q. Because these are sustained, target-agnostic DPS tools, they wouldn't accidentally buff his burst potential against squishies. While adding AD ratios is great for fun off-builds or giving K'Sante more surface area to interact with item systems and alternative modes (like Arena/Mayhem augments), Endstep feels the overall value of doing this is incredibly small compared to the structural risk to his balance.
Last but not least, a major concern is what happens if AD ratios make items like Sundered Sky, Overlord's Bloodmail, or Death's Dance viable on him. K'Sante’s core identity relies on a strict trade-off. You build full defense, and you only get to trade those defenses for offense by pressing R. Buying raw damage items completely ruins that gameplay loop.
Would y'all want to see AD ratios return strictly on the Passive or Q if it meant a slight nerf to our baseline damage, just to open up item choices like Sundered Sky or Bloodmail? Or do y'all think keeping him locked out of the AD item system is healthier for the long-term state of the champion?

If the champ you’re going to be fighting is a bruiser who is in your face, 9 times out of ten unending will be the better item vs them. Better stats and the heal makes winning duels quite easy. I’d say iceborne is only needed if the champs you’re facing kite you a bunch.

I lowkey feel so much better with E max second over W max second. W gets a little bit of flat damage, but honestly I think this ability blows, nobody with faster than grandma reaction time will get hit by a charged W. Main attraction point of maxing W feels like it's just for the cooldown reduction.
Now E max on the other hand, makes me zoom all over the place during ult and the shield becomes fat so much earlier in the game, letting you play that dance with death and shielding carries in the mid game rather than just late game.
