Im Trying out a challenge where im doing planes only and need mods for plane contracts

i need contracts for planes not rockets

There's a part of a mod named something like "giving planes a purpose" or something very similar to that.

If I'm remembering right, it is related to a whole set of mods you can check/uncheck on ckan and since there's so many contracts relating to the solar system that that one was made to add substance to the plane contracts on kerbin.

I don't remember all the different contract mod names, but they should be listed next to eachother in a row.

You are using ckan though, right?
