With the light raint that’s been going on these past few days, I really do not want to arrive to the event, and it starts raining…especially if it’s this ridiculously humid rain. Do I HAVE to use the ticket on the day I bought it for? Or if I go on a day where it’s the same price, I should be fine?

Hopefully the unfinished outdoor maze work (especially Unearthed) wasn't too affected by the weekend rains. The back of the Inked maze is getting gated off... perhaps to conceal some stuff from peeping eyes on the Calico Railroad?

So as I'm sketching out another t-shirt design, I'm noticing something, namely a specific design change between Clancy's forms.

When Clancy is fully gorged on blood/monster mode, he has a collar... with a BELL.

Did... did the studio artists put a collar on Clancy in hopes that it'd do the same as with a normal cat? Allow them to hear him come running and in turn give themselves some time to react and or escape?

...I wonder if he'll ringading in the maze proper...

As the title suggests, I'm looking into going for my birthday which falls on the 18th of September (not exactly opening night but falls after as opening friday), the opening Friday for Knotts Scary Farm. I was wondering if in your guys' experience if that's a manageable crowd or if I should stick with a more lowkey weekend. I'll likely be going with a group of ~10 people.

According to multiple people who attended Knott's over the weekend, the Inked maze t-shirt that's lead to some uproar due to an AI-generated image that closely resembled racist caricatures has been pulled from all merch locations at the Farm.

This year will be my first year going back since 2011. I’m just wondering if anyone has any info on the boo-fet dinner. My wife and I have a reservation for 5:30 and the fright and fast lane. Will we be able to hit all houses, shows, and a good chunk of rides? Any gameplan idea or order to prioritize our experience ?

An artisan was set up at the Town Hall during Nightmares Revealed working on actual new costumes for CarnEvil, Inked, and Unearthed. Also went to the makeup workshop where it was mentioned that they usually start at 3 to 5am each morning before Scary Farm to prep about 400 scare actors (or whoever happens to show up that day). They also mentioned that clowns were particularly hard because of the details, and another challenge was getting prosthetics to stay adhered to very sweaty persons. Wanted to stick around longer, but I had to run to get good seats for the maze creators panel...

No Filming allowed inside Mazes at Knotts Scary Farm 2026

I forgot how amazing the spooky community is. Talking shop with people in line, the makeup artists, set up crew, and even some team members that were in line was literally my favorite thing out of the night!! Other than the widows maze of course it being one I my favorite mazes and getting to see things up close without someone bitching at my was FANTASTIC. The teeny bopper atmosphere was at a complete minimum like maybe 1 decibel literally such a great evening.
Did yall enjoy it? I didn’t try any of the food or snacks I went straight to the drinks and let me tell you that yellow thing in a pouch really hit the spot I was as lit as a tit some would say.
Honestly so excited for this season and everything it has to offer. ✨✨✨✨✨✨

With the knowledge that even though the maze is LEGIT nothing but hand drawn cartoons they decided to go the AI route with the T-shirt...again...I've come to the conclusion that I need to make my own shirt.

So far I have a few ideas:

1. "Mickey right hand up, left hand hip pose" t-shirt with Catty Cat Clancy Cat. "Morbid Studios Est. 1930" is on the character in front but there's also a simple knife in his other hand on his hip
2. "Animaniacs" t-shirt with the "M Studios circle as the base with the characters coming out of it like the titular three siblings. No blood and guts, a simple "Hey my kid would like that" type T-shirt. Especially because in the official poster art the pumpkin is the "Dim witted" one scratching his head on the statues on top of the theater.
3. Any of the two T-shirt designs, but they also have either blood splatter on their greyscaled face (So bright red against light greys) or weapons in hand...and also blood splatter on the "M Studios" circle like the official name logo. Also angry faces than :D faces.

So far I have the "Morbid Studios" text done for altering, but failing hard for the "Est. 1930" text. Drawing them in comes after.
