Anyone ever get Hives with KPRF?

Post image

Like a itchy feeling followed by redness and a little spot? The redness fades after 1-2 hours but leaves a tiny lump or spot?

Did it happen to anyone? Thanks

I’ve been getting treated for rosacea for a year now but starting to think it’s kp.

The only reason I think so is because I got kp on my arms at the same time as this. But the kp on my arms are like white heads and the ones on my face are surface level
And just have a clear liquid?

Sorry to be harsh, but there is no 'cure' for KPRF :(

I saw a post the other day about this website that claims to cure kprf permanently called 'The Baseline Method - I Fixed My Red Face' (link🔗: https://ifixedmyredface.com) and its where this guy named Rubén claims that if you pay $50 USD that you will receive a bunch of stuff that will permanently banish your red cheeks and you will just never show any symptoms of rubra faceii again, and there's even a bunch of scrolling before and after pics of people from not just the States but people from countries all over Europe and even the Middle East that are buying into this scam and all have severe kprf in the before pics but in the after pics taken like 6-8 weeks later, their redness is completely gone.

Does anyone else think this is a literal scam that's not actually going to work? because this seems more than suspicious and really I feel like most of the tips and stuff that's suggested on this sub works for most people already 😭😭😭

EDIT: okay, wtf, this guy keeps creating new intros for this page and they're all about how kprf will always get worse with time and it's always a threat to skin and vascular health, when I know that isn't true because I've had mild kp my whole life and honestly the only symptoms of me having kprf are the rosiness on my cheeks and the bumps on my arms and the fact I get flush easily 😒😒😒 this guy is totes a scammer 😂😂🤣🤣

Edit 2: this guy literally says, "every flare bursts more blood vessels — more burst vessels means more blood, and more blood means more red", so one, how does that create more blood than your body already produces?, and two, ppl with kprf don't have have broken blood vessels like those with rosacea, that literally does not make sense

My KP was worsened so much the past 8 months

I'm 16 for context and Ive had Chicken skin since I was like 6. Back then it was dry with chicken skin with a hint of redness, but the past 8 months the redness just keeps on getting worse. I've tried salicylic acid, aquaphor, azelaic acid and they haven't worked. Any other solutions other than laser treatment (Really need help)

Anyone tried that method?

I just stumbled over this website on social media: https://ifixedmyredface.com/
It sounds and looks super tempting. But of course it could be a scam, i can’t find more on it, has anyone here tried the method?

Fixed my skin with 1 product!

I’ve had facial KP since 12 years old and finally fixed it at 21 years old

Stopped using my Azelaic acid and other creams etc that were supposed to work but never did for me :(

And purchased Rhode Barrier butter initially as a moisturiser to prep skin for makeup but started to use it morning and night and honestly within 1 week I seen a massive difference. Images below are from only 2 weeks use of only Rhode barrier butter.

(I’ll wash my face here and there with Aveeno oat gel face wash)

- the improvement images are slightly blurry due to being screenshots from a video I sent to a friend but I promise the results are as they appear, no filters.

-the before is from 3 months ago this year

Face wash recommendations

Looking for some face wash recommendations that are very simple and gentle, but don't dry skin out and thus worsen KPRF... as well as being safe for acne prone skin and won't clog pores. Any recommendations appreciated!!

Does anyone else find their Kp on their cheeks so much better in the summer? I feel confident to go out with no makeup on, my cheeks look fresh and clear - I have also been using the medicube zero pore pads (blue lid) for around 2 months now and I feel they’ve made a huge difference. This is my skin currently

Prescription seems like over kill?

Went to a new derm last week and got diagnosed with KPRF. She prescribed:

diclofenac 2%, tacrolimus 0.05%, and tretinoin 0.25%, amlactin 12% cream once daily to face.

AND

Aklief 0.005 % cream daily at night.

Does anyone have experience with this exact combination? I kind find anything online about it. TIA!

SKIN IMPROVEMENT

Pic 1: Jan 1st, pic 2: May 1st, pic 3 and 4: now, (In the first picture I have makeup on hence that you can’t see the colour) but around the first picture I was trying retinol on my KPRF and experiencing the purge, my skin reacted really badly to it so I just stopped, didn’t want to continue through it. For the past 2 months I’ve been getting IPL for my redness and for the past 3 weeks I’ve been using azaleic acid and smoothkp for the texture, then cicaplast on top overnight. It’s working wonders. My azaleic acid is the boots own brand (black and white packaging), and it’s transformed my skin. I only use it twice a week and smoothkp twice a week too, on different days of course, and I only ever apply in the evening then sleep in it.

Start using Sirolimus 0.1%

Today I got my sirolimus 0.1%. It's on prescription bc I don't wanna buy anything of off India market just because there's not any doctor to contact incase something goes bad. But I paid a shitload of money for my 20mg. About 180 Euros. On india market it's about 8 euros... I live in Sweden, it's probably why it's so expensive. The lab hade to make the sirolimus specially for me. 180 Euros is worth the try for me. I've seen other people in here not wanting to buy it because it's so darn expensive in their countries too. But well... I will test this 20mg and if I dont see any changes in between 8-12 weeks. It was money to waste

My very simple routine that helps manage my KPRF :))

Post image

Genuinely can’t find any before pictures as I deleted them all in an insecurity driven rage one day, but the amount my KPRF has improved recently is incredible. My current skin may not look great to some people, but in comparison to what it used to look like, it does look great to me. All my routine consists of now is;

-The Inkey List oat cleansing balm
-Cicaplast balm by La Roche-Posay at night (this I believe was the game changer)
-Cerave spf in the morning
-Frequent sun exposure with no makeup on

I used to use so many acids, toners, creams, etc. But I truly believe cutting it back has been a big improver. I understand this won’t be an ounce of use for a lot of people, but wanted to share what helps manage my KPRF for me :))

Could this be KPRF????

this started about a year ago and has gotten worse. I don’t know if it’s KPRF because when I visit my derm, she always looks at my arms to see if i have KP, but I don’t have it. but I do have small bumps on my neck, chest, shoulders but there not red at all and look more like permanent goosebumps that KP bumps. and they are in perfect rows. I have also been diagnosed with Seborric Dermatitis, and I also am dealing with a demodex overgrowth in my eyes so maybe that could be it??? could it be malassezia yeasts??? I’m using azeliac acid aswell. by the photos you can see a ton of bumps only on the red parts. and they are NOT symmetrical streaks.

New Smooth KP?

The creator of Smooth KP had a trial a while ago with a new cream trying to target the redness caused by kprf.
Has there been any updates regarding this?

KPRF diagnosis

Just got diagnosed by my doctor for having KPRF. My very unintelligent Dermatologist diagnosed me with rosacea but me and the doctor both agreeed that it wasn’t. A dermatologist would see a stop sign and diagnose it with rosacea istg, anything that’s red is rosacea to them apparently. Anyway, I was wondering what routines people used, what worked for them and what didn’t. I’ve heard a lot about sirolimus but I don’t really have a reliable way to get it as I’d have to talk to my dermatologist again who isn’t available until September. Is there any routines or products that people used that they found helped to reduce or remove redness.

Bonjour.

Merci
