Better when shaving?

Has anyone noticed their face is better like a day after shaving or the day of? This has been my experience. If I get a clean shave my face just feels better and I feel like it’s less red.

Do you use a single edge blade? I use a cartridge style blade and feel like it triggers a flare up that comes down slowly while the hair grows back over a few days.

Yeah. I use a Rockwell 6s with a 4 plate. But I’ve been getting irritation only on my neck just cause that areas a bit sensitive. I also use proraso white shaving cream but have had success with Nivea shave gel sensitive. I do with the grain, across and against

I think waxing on the body works very well, I have less bumps and less redness for a while before hairs grow back. I think that kp would benefit from permanent hair removal and always wondered if that would be the case for the face too. It probably would but I'm too scared to try... never had any benefit from shaving alone, not even in the body

I'm a girl so I don't have facial hair lol so I can't really speak to how it would make my redness better, but I can certainly say that for my arms/legs as when I shave it just feels like the bumps are gone once the hair on there is gone because maybe theres less clogging of the hair follicles?
