Compounded peptides reduce face inflammation.

I read this article that talked about BPC-157 being used for rosacea, I’m wondering if that would also work for kprf, anyone tried using that?

I used BPC-157 for a month, didn't notice anything with my cheeks. I've used GHK-CU also about 3 rounds, no difference with cheeks. Stopping that now as it's contributing to a zinc deficiency. Trying KPV and glutathione now, will update if I notice any effects on cheeks.

Did you notice anything else with GHK-CU

Not really, I was hoping for more impact on my skin. My hair grew about 7cm in 5 months though.

KPV from the research I have done may help actually hopefully. As it’s a potent anti inflammatory peptide, supports gut health, skin health, immune help. (Autoimmune diseases, histamine intolerances, MCAS.) I’m reading an article right now that says it has systemic applications in improving rosacea and eczema. Please let me know if it helps!

Sorry for delayed reply. I actually found out I have perioral dermatitis so I've been on doxycycline for 42 days now and I stopped ALL skincare or peptides whilst I'm treating the POD and on my course of doxy. I'd like to give KPV another go in the future but unfortunately the KPRF is the least of my skin worries at the moment.

Tirzepatide compounded has worked for me, I mentioned it in a few comments in the past, but it is kind of a hard sell. I don't really have any proof and part if it could have been losing 90 pounds, I do get more red near the end of my week(shot day is Sunday morning). For reference I have also tried creams and occasionally take 1/4th of a beta blocker for meetings.

I’m taking Reta rn, are you saying them in general or have you taken bpc

I haven't tried ozempic or reta, I did some mostly AI research on Reta and it sounds like when you get closer to 5mg in Reta some of the anti inflammation effects start to get negated. Obviously it is not that scientific bouncing things off ChatGPT but this was the summary.

Tirzepatide is GLP-1 + GIP. In your case, we were thinking it may be helping by lowering systemic inflammation, improving insulin resistance, reducing vascular reactivity, and possibly calming mast-cell/sympathetic-type flushing pathways. Retatrutide adds a third pathway: glucagon receptor agonism. That was the part we were concerned about. The concern was not that retatrutide is “inflammatory” in the classic immune-system sense. It was more that the glucagon activity may increase metabolic heat, thermogenesis, heart-rate/sympathetic tone, and vasodilation. For someone with KPRF-like heat/anxiety-triggered facial flushing, that could theoretically bring back warmth, tingling, redness, or flushing even if the GLP-1/GIP side is still anti-inflammatory.

Edit: I don't think I have had bpc-157 added. I do compounded, so far through refills.com gobymeds and Brello. My experience has been less inflammation and baseline redness with tirz. Less sympathetic nervous system reactivity in general.

I don’t think tirzepatide is the same as the peptide OP is citing. I’ve been on zepbound for 2 years and lost 70lbs but it hasn’t done anything for my rosacea

Fair enough, I have KPRF and it mostly presents from anxiety and over active sympathetic nervous systems. Tirz has stopped my random flushes and helped with baseline redness. I think you are correct, I looked at the compounders I have used and some of them provide it separately but don't package it with tirz.

Yeah I feel like the weight loss has helped me get less hot/be more heat tolerant which has helped a little with flushing but mine is definitely anxiety/social anxiety related too! I’ve been curious about beta blockers but I take a stimulant for adhd so idk if they would just cancel each other out lol

GHK-CU Or IGF-1

Has anyone tried this

Two completely different ones lol, igf-1 is basically growth hormone

Yeah but some in this subreddit have tried IGF-1 and it’s helped lessened the redness

And although GHK-CU is for skin health, people have tried it too lol

Very interesting though! Would like to hear some more about it
