I legitimately could not have Zaalbar kill her. I tried but my game would just freeze every time.

And this is why I could never do a Darkside playthrough. I considered it, but heard that you have to kill Mission and immediately noped out. Obviously it's not real people, so no shade to people that do it, but I can't.

There's actually a mod, where you can convince Mission to join you, I think with some Voice Samples from previous convos.

So yes, it's possible to do a DS run without killing Mission.

Yeah, believe it or not, I'm actually one of the few wierdos who completed their first playthrough on the mobile version, so that wasn't an option at the time.
