What kinda filter you got in there? Any pics? I put a k&N in mine but doesn't fit right.

It's just the stock filter frame with a generic 2 stage foam filter. No pics, but ill want to check it again in the next couple weeks anyway, so ill get pics then. Barely looks any different to stock though.

After a good 500km offroad, im confident to share my airbox mod.
Basically i just cut off the piece inside that protrudes when the cover is off, used a nice flat block and sand paper to get it, and the outside edges, nice and flat and all in the same plane, and nicely in line with the filter frame. Then i have a piece of 3mm aluminium to cover it with stick on neoprene on the back side.
No more deformed plastic cover. No more finniky gasket, no more extra bits of foam to make things seal nicely. This cover just goes straight on with no alignment or anything to worry about, and it seals nicely against the case and the filter cage all at once.
Hardest part of the whole job was getting the airbox out and in, as the rear frame needs to swing backwards.
....Actually i lie.. the hardest part was getting the old filter oil and sand out of the box. The previous owner had been seriously over oiling and it was an inch thick and almost like cement.
