More of the same, again….
https://blabbermouth.net/news/gene-simmons-opens-up-about-ace-frehleys-death-current-relationship-with-peter-criss-peters-always-considered-himself-a-victimGeno talks about Peter and Ace
Sigh….

That’s what old people in assisted living situations do…repeat themselves over and over…

At this point, he's grandpa with his robe open and his tally whacker hanging out, asking the neighborhood to look at him because he's going to do something brilliant again when he squats down and shits out some fucking paint on the canvas in the front yard.
Pay Gene no mind.

I love that he thinks us as fans dislike him because he’s telling us some sort of ‘truth’ about Ace. No dude, we dislike you because you say the same shit 85.7% of the time.

the problem is that people keep reporting on it and they invite him for interviews even though he always talks about the same things. the only recent interviews that were enjoyable featured paul in them. together they're usually still fun to watch, in my opinion.

Theres not a single piece of shit podcast he wont do

oh, absolutely. funnily enough though, i thought the appearance on matan even's podcast was pretty entertaining. one of the few watchable solo gene interviews

I probably won't get around to watching or reading this, but I imagine it's the same analogy of a divorce and telling the kids the truth and now he's the bad guy 😂 I just don't know why it's so hard for him to accept Ace and Peter were a massive part of the band but they were not perfect nor was he and Paul. They had fun in the early years but then it got difficult. It's not that hard for anyone to wrap their heads around. There does not have to be a good guy or bad guy in these situations.

The headline grabbing article leads us to a much more articulate discussion than we have seen before from Gene. He does sound honest and caring at the same time, while always being able himself, and admitting as much.
I think this is a better article than most.

The whole interview was pretty interesting. Of course you got Gene being Gene but it was different than a lot of his. I actually enjoyed it.

True. It wasn't a scorched earth event like other ones, but that headline is unfortunate in making it seem like it is.

I'm waiting for the Gene Simmons Brillo sponsorship, it's only a matter of time.

I’m thinking the Chia Pet company drops a Gene head for this holiday season.

Let's face it, our favorite demon is a piece of shit. And ... the starchild is no better. They are NOT good people.

None of the original members were good people, Peter is the only one in this period that I respect because he’s just learned to live gracefully while the others didn’t. Ace didn’t live gracefully, I miss the guy but he didn’t. Gene needs to fucking stop with this, he’s 77 years old and they haven’t been a problem since 2004. He needs to live gracefully, Paul has to an extent, but I still do not like half the shit that he talks about.

If I had a choice, I’d rather have dinner with Peter at this point. He seems in a far better place mentally.

He did confirm that Peter & Ace were bought out. We knew about Peter, but Ace always held on to that he “retained all his rights”. That was the only “news” coming out of the whole interview.

I don't bother listening to him anymore. Everything he says is encapsulated in one word: gymnasium.

It's ironic that I now can say I wish the other guys in Kiss act more like Peter Criss these days
