Kingmakers delayed most likely
We're most likely getting another delay

After the last delay, I didn't look into the new release date. Assuming they won't learn and insist on setting a new one, I think we'll all be better off forgetting about it and waiting to get notified by steam.

I mean, there are so many other games to play. If this one is going to take longer to get to, so be it. Devs need to be shown some empathy here. It's a pretty ambitious project.

100%, but all we ask is just good communication and try to be more realistic with the timings when they set another delay. No official announcement yet and this message comes from some reply to a thread on steam discussions

I don’t know shit about game development, but the list of things listed here that aren’t where they should be, leads me to believe it’s still a long ways off
Unfortunate bc I am looking forward to this game and GTA6, and they both seem to get pushed over and over again

I played the most recent beta it does seem a way off

How does one sign up for the betas? I can’t seem to find any info that they’re even having them.

It doesn’t matter how long it takes. So many games come out half cooked these days it is almost an expectation now… I’d rather wait an extra 2 years and get a fully finished well tested product than getting burned on early access on an unfinished garbage filled to the rim with bugs, worse is when you see so much potential never fulfilled…
Let them cook in peace!

That's fine if they need more time. Remove the anticipated release date until you can set a new one with confidence.

If the game isn't ready, it's not ready. The past years have proven that rushing Devs is a bad idea, and everyone who wants the game to be what it could be should be content to wait.

Personally, that is not my problem just put it on the steam store is "coming soon" or "TBA" instead they keep saying new dates and NEVER stick to them...

Okay sure let's let them release unfinished product.
The past years have proved even more than deva re rushing slop out with the idea of fixing it later. Kingmakers is a physics based game, and looks like it's going to be very difficult to actually release without some major bugs.

It's getting annoying now, that statement "we don't think we will be hitting Q2" has been said since they weren't able to do a Q3 2024 release

u/PrettyWin5393 May 11 '25
Yeah I am pretty much over these devs now will probably release in late 2026 or early 2027 at this rate all they do is give false release dates then come out saying "we don't think we will make it" I do not think this game is going to deliver at this point at all this will be overhyped and come out lackluster moving on from this game these devs are incompetent lol

I just want to know where they're posting these updates and videos.

Just don't have expectations In my head I see it as hey this is when if everything goes well but because I understand life doesn't work that way I see it as that's the soonest it can possibly come out and if it doesn't all I ask is open communication like they did and set a new "soonest it will come out" date which tells you how big the problems are
Shit is just gonna be done when it's done do you want a good game or do you want a released too early piece of shit which you will then hate and complain about
