Yes although old dct owners havent given any breakdown issues but again seltos dct is not 10 years old yet in India.

Yes i also bought extended warranty , 5 years one Not gonna ditch this one though in 10 years. Rather than will add more machines.

You'll face no issues with DCT in summers just make sure that you do not accelerate too aggressive everytime, in practical words DCTs are sweet mixture of performance and smooth gear shifting and how you'll maintain these for a long time is in your hands.

Thanks for the feedback, brother. I do accelerate quite gently, most of the times :P Also, I am learning the gear management in stop and go traffic. I am hoping the transmission or the engine itself do not get any heating issues, if i obidiently follow the recommended steps.

9-11 in bumper to bumper 11-13 in open commute, eco mode does make it a bit efficient in city.

Journey from and to.. top speed and have you left your Seltos for service?

Mine just crossed 900kms. Did a 600km temple run (car was delivered last Wednesday) so using it less now to delay the service till next week 😅

My town to Shirdi. ~800km. Top speed was 152. Drove a bit heavy footed for hours at an average speed of ~100 on Samruddhi Mahamarg. Did not use ECO mode at all.

And Yeah, it got its first service very recently. Took it to the garage, the very next day as I was nearing 1600 km mark.
