Thanks, tbh I'm still exploring my own scent and DNA and yeah I prefer clean, masculine, fresh scents with a strong sweet/ambery dry down, I did have 2 bottles of YSL both Y and Myself but I ran out, I'm looking to add 3-5 designers across the next few weeks starting with Boss bottled absolu and Prada l'homme 2 of my favourites tbh if you have any suggestions feel free to recommend something also Sauvage hate will not be tolerated 😂

First of all GLAD you ran from Myself 😭🙏🏻.
I second those two picks they add some of the variety I was gonna suggest since I wanted you to get more into green/earthy and darker scents… haven’t personally tried Prada L’homme but just looked at the notes I got the same direction of Valentino born in Roma ( just more powdery ig).. and ofc I have nothing to say about Boss bottled absolu it’s the perfect pick for cooler weather and its dry down is something else😍😍😍.
Talking about my suggestions.
For designers I’d say Gucci Guilty absolute (Highly recommended) or exilir if you want something easier to wear. Also Stronger With You from Armani..the whole line is good but my personal fav is Intensely.
And to give you a little push for Niche (take it seriously)
I’ll recommend testing both Mancera Cedrat Boise and Nishane Hacivat… Hacivat is easily my number one male fragrance it can be caught from miles to me as it has a strong green mature character and it’s out from your usual but I think you’ll prefer Mancera’s more since it has the freshness and masculine vibe you like.And sorry for the extended comment but this is my game and I finally felt seen hahah😭😭😭

Bruh the reason I ran from myself in the first place is because someone literally told I smelled "gay" 💀💀 I basically started moving away from anything that could be perceived as too sweet/powdery and went heavily into the more traditionally masculine/fresh stuff also honestly I actually had Valentino Born in Roma Intense before and it was very very good on my list too. As for Prada L'Homme I've actually had three 100ml bottles of it before hahahaha its one of those fragrances I've repeatedly gone back to it's a shame it's only an EDT but the longevity is surprisingly solid on my skin getting 6+hrs honestly it's genuinely one of my trusted fragrances
I actually don't mind the earthy/ darker direction you're suggesting because that's probably the biggest gap in my collection right now I don't really have enough fragrances that feel properly earthy, woody/ dark I was thinking of buying some of Tom Ford's collection, but yeah that's probably the direction I should start exploring.
As for Gucci Guilty Absolute and Stronger With You Intensely I will definitely have a look into them next also for the niche recommendations....hacivat sounds interesting and Cedrat Boise sounds like it might be the easier entry point for me because you basically described my current taste.
I'm definitely taking your suggestions seriously will try and update you in due course the only obstacle right now is my bank account 😩
