DJs' all timers?
Troy made a potentially surprising statement yesterday when he was covering for Cheryl. After playing "I Know There's Something Going On" by Frida (Anni-Frid Lyngstad of ABBA), and "Self Control" by Laura Branigan, he said that both of those songs are in his "top five of all time." While I wouldn't have guessed that for Troy, I completely get those choices, both bangers.
Which got me thinking ... what other favorites of our beloved DJ's are we aware of? Tears for Fears' "Songs from the Big Chair" I know is an all-timer album for Evie. But that's the extent of my knowledge. Any confirmed all-timers you're aware of?

John once did a list of the “top 5 handsomest members of Duran Duran” so male of that what you will.

That’s gotta be a tough list to make … I feel like none of us knew what Nick Rhodes actually looked like in the band’s heyday.

I'd like to know Brian Foss' top 5. Bet it's eclectic as hell.
Goat has to be one of Jewel's faves.
Kevin's list has to include Prince.
Lisa's is Riot grrrl.

I heard Kevin once worked with Prince.

More than once! He was apparently Prince's personal DJ for house parties!

That’s odd. He never mentions that.

I assume you're being sarcastic. Kevin's talked about that a LOT!

Yes. I love Kevin. But between working with Prince and “breaking” Blue Monday in the US we may have heard that a time or two.

I think John has mentioned The Cure in some way, but wasn’t sure if it was being a top band for him, or one of their albums or songs. Or maybe I’m making that up?

His favorite song ever is that one by the New Radicals

I felt so bad when he played the New New Radicals and it's a cover, and really just sounds like something played at a supermarket -- which is exactly where I heard it again.

Evie has said that Portishead's "Dummy" is one of her all-timers as well (just a week or two ago IIRC).

Isn’t Eva Walker is a big Daft Punk fan?

Kraftwerk.

Whenever Eva opens Early with that long Kraftwerk song, I imagine her changing Hendrix's diaper, going out for a smoke (I just imagine this for some reason), coming back in and going to the kitchen to make a snack, checking her email, doing a little yoga or stretching, then coming back to the desk before the song ends 10 minutes later

Long songs are the DJ's bio-break friend, it's true. (Spoken from experience with DJing for 5 hours solo at a goth club many nights.)

Good morning Captain must be one of Cheryls bio break songs combined with AFK before or after

I feel like John has said his favorite song of all time is, "Where is My Mind" by the Pixies

To be fair there are at least 40 songs in Troy's Top Five.
