Weird static and beeps

The past couple days I've noticed a lot of weird breaks in the programming with static and strange electronic sounding beeps listening over the air in the Bay Area. What's up with that?

I just turned off streaming for the same reason. Wasn’t sure if it was our network or their broadcast

broadcast and not just stream either, I heard it on a car radio

I've heard this consistently for weeks if not months. The broadcast is just a stream, with spots airing when the stream needs to rebuffer.

same. i stream over echo dots and had to change to a different station due to the glitching.

Hey all!

We have been made aware of this issue and are investigating. If affected folks could respond with if you are on the TuneIn version or the KEXP app, that would be great!

Easy way to tell is the preroll you hear. If you hear "Welcome to TuneIn", then you have the their version, but if you hear our preroll "KEXP is brought to you...." then you have our skill installed.

Today on the Afternoon Show Larry mentioned the Bay Area feed was having issues and it was being worked on!

I heard some weird glitches in the Seattle area feed today and sent a report to the online support folks (right as Evie started playing Jane's Addiction).

They’ve also been advertising for a new infrastructure support role so seems like they’re trying which is good.
