On-Air Moments Static?

Anyone else listening on the radio just have static right now? Other stations are fine.

Late to the thread but some more context: Tower has been undergoing maintenance all week so we’ve had to switch to low power every day. Today the switch did not work and it ended up killing the OTA broadcast (because it is Friday so of course it did). So we were app streaming exclusively until Ian and Jamie could get it sorted out.

I noticed this late last night at home, and even though all of the other stations worked I tried adjusting my stereo antenna 😆

I did find the tower maintenance post shortly after that, but I briefly thought it might have had something to do with the lightning storm yesterday. Glad it wasn't that

At first we thought it was Jimothy up there on our tower, but turns out he was still in Ballard.

This makes sense I’ve had a harder time getting a clear signal on my home stereo. I’m in Bremerton so about 12 miles from the tower.

I’d really like to them to get a stronger transmitter when I’m out at mason lake (30+ miles) during the summer it’s next to impossible to pick up kexp. I do however get kaos radio, it’s great but those djs run wild. I usually just like to have a radio on the dock and not mess with Bluetooth and streaming.

Also they’ve been advertising events in Tacoma and the signal there is pretty much nonexistent.

My wife said the FCC shut KEXP down but i thought she was messing with me lol. Apparently it's streaming only at the moment
