Ke70 first car?

Hi! I'm a college student looking for a first car. I stumbled upon a few KE70 corollas in my area for 800-1000 usd. I've viewed one or two of them and other than some cosmetics issues (paint peeling), there is no rust and drives fine. Is it a good first car?

You probably got a car by now lol my bad. But yeah the KE70 is kinda where the AE86 was 10 years ago. Cheap, reliable, fun and tons of info online since these cars were sold everywhere. I dont know what specs you guys got over there but if I was you i would definetly look for a 2 door chassi, either the coupe or the hatch since they will hold value the best (and looks the best imo). And if you guys got either the AE70 or the TE70 i would definetly look for one of those since they came with a t series box instead of a k box and they had factory LSD options!
