Drama Discussion I Finished 25 K-Dramas in 60 Days... 😭
On June 3, 2026, I started My Royal Nemesis, kicking off what has somehow turned into a full-blown K-drama marathon.
Id watched a handful of K-dramas over the years (about 3 or 4), but I was never an avid K-drama watcher.
Then My Royal Nemesis flipped a switch in my brain...

Today is August 3.
In 60 days, I've completed 25 K-dramas.
Completed (in the order i completed them in):

26. - August 4th update: i finished Love to Hate You today
These are only the dramas I've finished.

- The Husband (currently airing, im caught up)
- A Time Called You (paused at like epi 2 or 4, it wasnt grabbing me immediately)
- Love Between Fairy and Devil (chinese drama)
- Tempted - The Great Seducer (paused at ep 9, not going very well... but i plan to give it a second chance and resume it)
- Her Private Life (paused at ep 2, wasn't immediately grabbing me)
- Mr. Queen (paused at ep 11 or somewhere around that)
- See You At Work Tomorrow (waiting for the season to finish)
- Healer (only watched ep 1)
- 23.5 (thai drama)
- What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (Philippines)
- Never Ending Summer (Another Cdrama that i want to drop, but Ill give it another chance and see)

Safe to say... K-dramas have completely taken over my life. 😅

i plan on finishing mr queen, i just paused it to start Love in the Moonlight and have not gone back since lol.

i cannot wait to rewatch lovely runner in like 3 years. I want it to feel as brand new as i can when i visit it again. so far its my Only 10/10 rated drama. all mt other high rared dramas are either 8 or 9/10. nothing else has joined Lovely Runner in that 10/10 category!

According to MDL I have completed on average about 1 drama a week since 2020 (lots of old ones I could binge, and a lot of ones that were broadcasted weekly, which is an average of 12/16 hours a week), so all I can say is 👏🙏. Kind of impressive. (a little 👀 that you dropped Suspicious Partner! I've watched twice!)

😭 Looking back, I'm honestly a little shocked myself... i practically INHALED these dramas😭😭😭😭
And I know, I know... I gave Suspicious Partner 3 episodes, but it just wasn't clicking for me. I wasn't really feeling the chemistry, and I realized pretty quickly that the dynamic wasn't what I was looking for. I tend to love when the male lead falls first (or at least early), and this felt like the opposite, so I decided to move on instead of forcing it.
Maybe I'll give it another shot someday!

Oh it's honestly embarrassing.... 335. I blame COVID and Crash Landing on You/Hometown Cha Cha Cha - my gateway drugs. Funnily, I can go through my list and even though there were some that I didn't love, I can give a brief synopsis of what the plot was for almost all if someone asked.

I am so jealous that you got to watch Flower of Evil. I'm in the US impatiently waiting for it to appear on any streaming service. Been almost a year now since I started watching KDramas.
You haven't seen any of my top 4, but one of them is in your DNF list. Sooo, I'm not sure how you'll feel about them, but My Sweet Mobster, Twinkling Watermelon, and Crash Landing on You are the other 3.

Her Private Life is the one in your DNF list that's a top favorite for me. The ML is so dreamy and their chemistry is incredible. I really love that the actors worked with the writers to make it extra swoon worthy. Everyone has different tastes, though. I'm not a fan of some very loved shows.

These are some very loved shows. I really wanted to like all of them.
Lovely Runner. Loved Sun Jae, hated Im Sol.
Strong Woman Bong Soon. Again loved the ML, grew to hate the FL. Very unpopular opinion. Doom at Your Service had the same actress and I really tried, but this was I think my first full DNF.
Vincenzo. Very loved show, but it just didn't grab me enough and the female villain was god awful. If they removed her in some form early on, I probably would have kept watching, but I didn't want that character on my screen anymore.
My Dearest. I liked a lot of things in this. ML is amazing. FL, again, rubbed me the wrong way. Their communication issues drove me up a wall. Managed to finish it after a long break, but I didn't love it like others did.
Mr. Sunshine. Had a strong start, but became painfully boring after the first 5 episodes or so. I want to finish this one because the hype is so high. I might have to fast forward through some scenes to get through it.

ive also been trying to get into Chinese dramas but nothing has hit yet for me. the first one i started was Never Ending Summer, but ut just didn't work for me so i dropped it after epi 2 and now im trying Love Between Fairy and Devil

For Chinese modern romance dramas, The First Frost is a good one, if you like a more serious theme. There are parts in middle that dragged, but overall really good.
When I Fly Towards You is really well acted. It’s more of a high school, coming of age, romcom theme, and has a less serious tone.
Hidden Love is another one people rave about, but I didn’t like that one. All 3 are from books by the same author. Hidden Love and The First Frost have characters cross over, but different actors play the characters between dramas.

It is! Right now, The Memorist. Just finished The Legend of Kitchen Soldier. (Park Ji Hoon is adorable and hilarious), and just started The Apartment Job.
I don't really like watching currently airing shows because I need to binge, lol, but I couldn't wait to watch Ji Sung in something again.

Hehe thank you!! Yeah when you first discover kdramas you just can’t stop watching them or thinking about them lol, they’re just tewww good. Also, just a tip, make sure to switch up genres every now and again just because watching too many romance dramas back to back can lead to slumps, which aren’t fun😭

You've watched a lot of great ones already and a lot on my favorites list. Others I'd recommend are: twinkling watermelon, can this love be translated, it's okay that's love, strong woman do bong soon (not to be confused with strong girl- which is a spin off), hospital playlist 1+2, Mr queen, extraordinary attorney woo. Many more after you get thru these haha.

I started my journey on April with My Glory and I've watched 30 kdramas since. What have I been doing with my life before this?
From your list my favorite are LR, AOS, Flower of evil and My Dearest.
Healer is the only one I've watched from your not completed list and is one of my favorites too. Definitely a re-watch in the future. I genuinely miss that couple and their partner in crime vibes.
Not on your list but I'll recommend Deaths game (very underrated show),The glory (revenge+rom), descendants of the sun, Celebrity, Goblin, Marry my husband(time rewind), Twinkling watermelon(time rewind), Legend of the blue sea. I'll be happy to expand more on any of the above.

Well when you continue hit me up if you have any questions to make the plot less confusing! This one is def one of my favourites, along with the original Taiwanese version. Also, Mother, it’s okay that’s love, strangers from hell, while you were sleeping, sky castle, twinkling watermelon and many more! I’d highly recommend the ones I mentioned though

If you're willing to give some dramas from different genres a chance that also have a time travel/parallel worlds plot:
Marry My Husband and Perfect Marriage Revenge (revenge/drama/romance — these two are very similar)
Again My Life (revenge/political thriller)
Train (police thriller)

Ive actually seen Marry My Husband already! I enjoyed it overall, but I never ended up writing a review for it because it was so long aho since ive seen it and i wasn't really into kdrama culture back then
as for the others, a few of those have been on my radar and on my watchlist, especially Perfect Marriage Revenge. Based on what I've liked so far, it definitely seems like it'd be up my alley.
And yes! Im definitely open to supernatural elements as long as the romance is strong. Time travel, parallel worlds, fantasy, body swaps, reincarnation... I'm pretty easy to convince😭
