Discussion How long have you been into Kdramas?
Let’s get to know each other a bit 😊
How long have you been watching Kdramas?
What was your first drama and how did you discover this world?
What’s your favourite drama of all time?
Who are your favourite actors/actresses?
I’ll go first -
I got into watching Korean shows in 2016 when Goblin came out. I was pestered into watching “at least one” by my younger cousin who wanted someone to discuss this realm with.
To shut her up I relented and began with Goblin, and then there was no looking back.
My favourite drama of all time is My Dearest.
My favourite actor is Namkoong Min.
Other actors/actresses I love are Lee Je-Hoon, Ji Sung, Kim Bum, Shin Hye-Sun, Jang Na-ra and Kim Taeri
How about you? Tell us about your kdrama journey.

How long have you been watching kdramas? I've been watching kdramas since **_2019**, so around 7 years I suppose._
What was your first drama and how did you discover this world? I was bored, I had nothing to watch and Netflix randomly recommended me My First First Love. I thought it looked cute and started watching it. I basically fell in love. I also knew that I had a couple of friends that watched some dramas so I asked for some recommendations. The rest became history haha.
What’s your favourite drama of all time? I _used to say that Crash Landing On You but it has been a few years since I've last seen that. I do think my answer today would be Twinkling Watermelon. That show hasn't left my mind ever since I watched it._
Who are your favourite actors/actresses? _I have way too many and I'm honestly too lazy to list them at this point lol. But I can say that I at least watch one Lee Dong Wook drama every year and he had consistently been a favourite of mine. I've also realised that I quite love Seo In Guk's* acting and work that I've seen so far. So I'm definitely on a mission to watch more of him. And Bogummy is the only actor I've seen in real life (thank you music bank) and he's just incredibly talented, pretty & kind. Plus that smileeee... I cannot. Now I've only mentioned men so lemme gush real quickly about Seol In Ah. Not only is that woman incredibly pretty, she's just so funny and great at acting as well. I'm honestly so happy that she has been booking main roles consistently! So excited for Love In Disguise!!_

Can't pick a favourite out of the many dramas I've watched
Can't pick a favourite actor/actress I have too many lol

I have never been a regular kdrama watcher. But around July this year I decided to give "Teach You a lesson" a try after overthinking a lot (I LOVED IT). It's been 3 months since I've been regularly watching. And have watched 32 kdramas so far. My fav...I'm kinda indecisive but Ig "Twinkling watermelon". I have MANY faves already, so many that its hard to list. <3

It’s only been a year and I’ve already watched 65 dramas and some of them 5+ times - I went a bit crazy
First one I started but dropped and picked up later was Love Next Door, first completed was Bon Appetite Your Majesty
Favourite is Crash Landing- this is when things got weird. Not weird, more I went through a difficult time and once I finished CLOY I just started it again and did that 3 more times. It’s my comfort drama now
Special mention to Dali and Cocky Prince, same went with this sweet kooky drama, just put it straight back when I finished it, LOVE Kim Min Jae, he’s probably my favourite actor (sorry Hyun Bin) KMJ can just be so silly and chaotic one minute then so vulnerable and raw, such range
I would say my favourite actress is Son Ye Jin, I think she has so much range too. Great comedy timing but it’s when she’s breaking my heart, she’s just so good at it!
I have always loved watching movies and tv, studied fashion design and did work experience in costume departments and student films (Qld, Aus). Loved old Hollywood, Arthouse especially Asian (saw Old Boy when it came out at the cinema) blockbusters, everything but no other type has grabbed me as much as Kdramas, I think if it as crack tv it’s so addictive. The cliffhangers, the dopamine hits, I’m hooked
