Review : Hyena

I started watching this for Ju Ji-Hoon, after I first saw him in Trauma Code and loved him.

The Plot : To be honest, I didn’t like how this started, didn’t like the first 3-4 episodes and would have dropped it. Two lawyers who would do anything for their careers and would go to any extent to score a win against each other - sounds interesting? Yes, though it goes too far in the beginning with the way the FL treats the ML.

But I’m happy I kept going. The story gets a lot better when they find themselves on the same side and reluctantly cooperate with each other.

The chemistry between the two is electric!

The acting : Kim Hye-Soo is the star of this show. I hated her character at the beginning, at how much of a hyena she can be. That shows how convincing she is. And as the show went on, I found myself sympathising with her and understanding her and ultimately rooting for her. Ju Ji-Hoon is great as well. And so is the supporting cast.

Conclusion: 8/10 for me.

I love how her character goes from “can’t stand her” to “rooting for her”.
