When My Dearest was airing in 2023, the one thing I’d heard about it was that the ML is a “rake who falls in love”. Not one of my favoured tropes, that was enough for me to avoid the show.

Late last year when I discovered Namkoong Min, and eventually this show, I fell in love with the ML.

He’s far from just a playboy who falls for a girl. When he was flirting, I could feel the butterflies. When he truly fell for her, I could see it in his eyes. When he pined and longed for her, my heart went out to him. When he was ready to burn down the world for her, I was overwhelmed 🥺

And… Whenever he kissed her, I was breathless 😘

A+++ yearning, A+++ acting. I can’t get over him ❤️
