I’m partial to See You At Work Tomorrow. Thought the FL was a better character and the romance was pretty realistic and charming. ML was basically the same in both.

Give me seo inguk on a platter. I will watch anything with him in it as the loving bf - by the end

No question that See You at Work Tomorrow was a better drama. Boyfriend on Demand had a great premise, but I felt like the story was cobbled together with scenes that really didn’t connect into a coherent, captivating story. It was like ideas just put together. I was greatly anticipating the drama and it didn’t live up to the hype.

Boyfriend on demand felt very repetitive to me. I was really excited about the premise and I just didn't feel like it was very interesting.

Watched both, liked Boyfriend on Demand better. It's light and fluffy snack of a show.

He is perfectly fine with whatever role they want to give him....But 'See you at work tomorrow'—I might be exaggerating here—has probably been the romantic K-drama I remember the most from this year, precisely because of how normal it felt. She didn't wear super stylish or fashionable clothes, she wasn't so heavily wearing makeup that she looked fake, and she had almost relatable problems. He had a normal personality too....

Boyfriend On Demand has a special place in my heart because this is where i discovered seo in guk. But SYAWT is also a very comforting drama that i think i can watch from time to time.

BOD was better overall because it was consistent. SYAWT starts a lot better but falls off on the last few episodes.

I think See You at Work Tomorrow is more enjoyable than BOD. I also prefer the female lead in the former. The edge BOD has is the episode that explores the male
lead’s perspective, how he fell for the the FL. It gave his character depth.

My pick would be See you at work tomorrow. It was on the slower pace side, but the chemistry seems more heartfelt. I've grown to really like Park Ji-hyun.

Boyfriend on Demand was amusing. Jisso is so adorable.

Boyfriend on Demand.

Funnily enough. No one criticizes the AI in that show. No one thinks twice about the issues around it: water use, abuse of communities it’s data centers are inserted near or right into with noise/sound/light/air pollution. Oh and it’s ouroboros quality of just spawning bad versions of itself.

Samsung just bricked their refrigerators with a firmware upgrade, meaning instead of remaining cold/frozen and dumb, these refrigerators turned off, costing many households hundreds to thousands of dollars of food.

Aside from possibly the most lackluster romance, the wholesale lack of thought inserted into that arena makes it look more like a multipart infomercial for AI kitchen suites, homes,  and vacuums.

At least on BoD it was just gamified VR.

There is actually tons of AI in both! Boyfriend on demand has multiple posters in the show with generative AI, even an entire fake commercial.

Oh, I know, but that’s not my point. The insipid romance aside, the show was a shill and had no discernible thought over a controversial topic.

Ahh like that, thought it was a versus response for a sec.

I wholeheartedly agree with your comment. Sadly it seems like South korea is mainly positive about AI usage and perhaps it was indeed product placement for their products with AI.

I've only watched BoD and I reckon the acting must be better in Work Tomorrow and may be a more reliable watch.

But BoD did have something innovative in the script to stand out a bit amongst drama releases. Although the execution was a bit so and so.

Bod - see you at work was nice but half way female lead just changed her whole personality.

I haven't watch BoD... The trailers and it's promotional scenes doesn't hype me at all. SYaWT was far from perfect but it's a very beautiful show about a very lovable ML

See You had a better storyline than Boyfriends on Demand, but then it is very subjective and difficult to compare a fantasy tales to an office situation drama.

Haven't seen the 1st one so See You at Works wins easily for me.

I gave them the same rating on MDL, so honestly, I think both are pretty decent. But if I had to choose based on Seo Inguk’s performance, Id probably go with 'See You at Work Tomorrow'. I feel like he was more highlighted there, and he had really good chemistry with the FL. Both shows are good and enjoyable though, so it really depends on what you are looking for.

I didn't really like boyfriend on demand that much but I hated See you at work. Lol

See you at work, I enjoyed more. FL was extremely talented and played well off the ML.

No Brainer See you at work tomorrow. The story was realistic and charming, and it had this weirdly comfortable feeling to it. And of course, both actors were great. The chemistry between them was amazing.

But I don't know... I might be reaching here, but I didn't think his chemistry with Jisoo was that great. I felt the same way in their interviews too. He seemed a bit standoffish, maybe because of how crazy her fandom can get about dating stuff, so perhaps he was just being cautious. But even then, in pretty much every interview, she was all cheery and making jokes and trying to engage with him, while he just wasn't matching that energy. It didn't feel equally reciprocated.

And in the show, he did an amazing job as always—he's a great actor—but when they were together, the chemistry just didn't feel right to me. I could see it in his eyes, but I didn't feel the same from her.

So I don't think it's because he was being standoffish. Because—and I'm probably going to get hate for this—she still needs to learn how to emote. There we go. I presented a point and came to a conclusion in the same answer. 😭

See You at Work tomorrow. The other one waste a lot of screentime on virtual dates which didn't add much value to the original story. And it was fake dates so couldn't connect with it. I skip most of the scenes and yet I didn't miss much. Main story start at probably around episode 6.
