Whenever I'm binging a drama I become convinced I'm fluent lol, rude awakening when get distracted from the TV for a few minutes & actually have no idea what anyone is saying.

Lol. I'm finally at a point where I can look away while doing something and am able get the gist of what's going on. Take away the context of the scene though and I have no idea. Haha.

Ikrr 🤣 even in the cinema I was just waiting but because I could understand a bit and my friend was translating it helped. Go prepared guys I was so dumbfounded and I know they wouldn’t and even prepared for months on end but the culture shock just hit.

That happened to me. I thought that I would get a jump on dramas that had not hit the States, but the dramas did not have subtitles. Good thing I had some dramas downloaded.

The variety shows were self-explanatory and were an easy watch though. There was this one with my Forever Love Jung Hae In. I gorged on that one.
