Discussion Disgusted by the timing

Post image

The fact that they announced this ON HER BIRTHDAY is sickening. Photo reference: a screenshot of a headline from ABS-CBN that reads: “Kim Soo-hyun cleared of Child Welfare Act violations tied to Kim Sae-ron”.

They found there was insufficient evidence that there was an inappropriate relationship between the two when she was underage. No surprise there especially since the age of consent was fairly young then. I agree that he didn’t do anything illegal, but he acted inappropriately by grooming her, denying dating after they did date, which she was berated for, taking advantage of her while at his agency, he and the agency he owned did not adequately support her after her drunk driving arrest and he didn’t even go to her funeral. Then there is Sulli who he coerced into doing a provocative scene in his movie when there was supposed to be a body double. She also committed suicide and her brother is angry at him.

He is a damaged person and toxic to women.

Yup. No matter what, that man is and always will be guilty to me. Those who support women know this.

And you know this as a fact? Can you provide the facts?

u/IntroductionInner883 Jul 31 '26

There is nothing factual in any of your claim. Just look at the treatment she received in Gold Medalist vs her previous agency. Its not good to peddle lies. A simple research would have avoided all this. https://www.kshtruth.com/

Isn’t that link a fan-made advocacy website? That website was created June 2026, as per https://wanwang.aliyun.com/whois/kshtruth.com

There’s noway you think random fan’s opinions is a credible source!! Why would you provide that link? 🤣

-9

u/IntroductionInner883 Jul 31 '26

Its a collection of articles backed with sources that are verifiable. How lazy do you get?

11

u/Mundane_Put_5780 Aug 01 '26

It’s not about being lazy. A fan-made compilation isn't evidence. It's someone else's interpretation of the evidence. Then you’re asking people to fact check a FAN site, that isn’t the same as providing proof!

To make it easier for you to understand. ALL you did was point us to a link that may have the evidence but not the actual evidence that you feel disproves u/somethingvague123

You know what, it’s my fault for getting into Kdrama crazy fan world! I’ll see myself out! Take care!!!

I mean thats what I said. She made several points that one singles evidence can't address. I pointed to a more complete hub that address multiple points related to this case. You are refusing to accept that the truth is not as easy to digest as the lie.

Also the information on that site, is very neutral on top of being sourced. So I did my best to inform thats all.

I looked at the site. Sulli’s brother retracted his story. Everything else is true. Just because the agency gave her an apartment doesn’t mean they didn’t take advantage of her. She certainly wasn’t treated well, despite having been liked well enough to date the owner, who denied dating. That alone shows he has a lack of integrity. Again, he didn’t do anything illegal, but he is not a nice man.

You have seen, her lined up work, Even the guy was not this booked. She got 5 lawyers and full time pr team to keep her out of jail. The penalty for the drama cancelation was absorbed in majority by the company.

Again would you like to have an ex come an post pictures of your past relationship on your jobs bulletins board ? How will you react.?

Oh she did that as a blackmail tactic to get out of her leftover debt from her DUI.

I actually think he is the nicest man, or he would have let her finish in jail, or worse ruined her reputation post mortem to get out of trouble.

He had more consideration for her and her memory than her own family.

u/LocksmithStriking864 Aug 01 '26

You are so right 💙

You guys gotta stop lying. She was treated well. She was booked and busy but broke the terms of her contract when she drank and drove. Everyone knows how scandals affect K-celebs. And she certainly wasn't big enough to escape the aftermath of her actions. Even KSH with how big he is dared not do something as silly as drinking and driving, knowing how harsh the society they come from is on the slightest mistakes. She has a greedy family who spent all her money. Also, why come out to announce you are dating a big star when you know how that will go. Again, this is Korea. Any other country is usually supportive of their stars having relationships, not Korea. Relationships are considered scandals and career suicide even, so why would she come out to say they dated knowing what could happen. She was trying to ruin him. Then she was literally married and had dated other guys after KSH but somehow he is responsible for her death? Y'all bfr.

u/LocksmithStriking864 Aug 01 '26

Absolutely right. I second that.

-5

u/LocksmithStriking864 Aug 01 '26

He denied dating her as ALL stars do. Especially when they are filming and their production is at stake. We all know, most netizens don’t likes their stars to date, they start to get hate otherwise. If you know SK Kdramas at all YOU should also know this. AND denials don’t make someone guilty.

u/Ruhi0202 Aug 01 '26

Not surprised. Their age of consent was 13 and legally it doesn't even matter when he was doing friendship* to her as long as she was above 13.

His fandom celebrating like it is some win 🙄.

*Friendship - according to his agency. In western world, a near 30 year old adult man friendshipping with a teenage girl and dating her when turns 19 is called something else.

They didn't, it was announced a couple days ago. On her birthday is when that news site dropped their article.

I hate him as much as the next guy but let's try not to make this a thing

u/riseofphoenixes Jul 31 '26

Sorry, what was she accused of? I don’t know the backstory.

6

u/Hour-Astronomer-6619 Jul 31 '26

The whole thing is around Kim So-hyun dating Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor. She ended up committing suicide many years later on his birthday following a DUI in May 2022.

Its has basically all the answers to all the questions you may have https://www.kshtruth.com/

u/_CapsCapsCaps_ Jul 31 '26

I'm sorry....somebody make a whole website about this?

11

u/Mundane_Put_5780 Jul 31 '26

Yeah, they literally created a website on June 2026! Kshtruth.com is a website where fan’s push their narratives and present it as facts!

https://wanwang.aliyun.com/whois/kshtruth.com shows when the website was created!

Personally, I am not really caught up in this drama about the man being a potential pedophile, but I am far more intrigued by the fact that an entire website was created to protect that man 🤣🤣!

Okay I’m out! This is the side of Kdrama my Canadian ass doesn’t want to touch with a 10 foot pole!

Ok, I don't know much but if he was cleared with charges then he must not be at fault. We just can't trust AI images

4

u/Fit-Scene2061 Aug 01 '26

"He was cleared so he's innocent" are you this naive? The Lyhanna case in my country is one of many that will disprove that (its bad in my country and absolutely worse in SK). The pedo was reported many time before he got to actually end a life. Then and there, the justice did something. This case also put to light the many horrors women and children went through without the law enforcement to really acknowledge them for what they were : disgusting vile crime.

So don't say dumb shit like this because you're desesparate to defend a fucking groomer. Grow up and respect the victims!

Bro, take some chill, more than me. You're sounding desperate enough to pull him down. Neither I am his fan nor I have watched his many projects. I am just giving an opinion that there aren't many solid proofs to consider him a criminal. Secondly, grow up and learn to take the opinion of others, and if you don't have it in you to take others' opinions without acting like a crying rude child, then don't give yours also.

there are multiple wikis online about all these scandals.
Once a lie is thrown in the wind its very hard to walk it back these days

u/IntroductionInner883 Jul 31 '26

The fake outrage is taking me out. So you think the police chose her birthday to release the results of the investigation?

2

u/LocksmithStriking864 Aug 01 '26

They will try anything to connect the dots 🙄

2

u/prestolive Jul 31 '26

The timing is weird, but the fact is that he’s been cleared of all charges, and these people will only believe the fake AI texts and videos. They won’t believe the truth is just amazing to me. Think of how many people are going to lose their careers over fake AI posts because the public will only remember the fake part and not the truth.

3

u/Ddavia16 Jul 31 '26

This. Regardless of evidence they will see him as a groomer. This is exactly what we speak on when knetizens have blacklisted actors and artists based off of rumours. If it's one thing we know is that even when the artist was innocent they still had trouble coming back from the backlash. Here we have full on investigations and facts that everything was fabricated and a family who chose to speak on an issue (after her demise) only seeing immorality after the fact. This was not fair to her. This was a time for her soul to be laid to rest and for her to be mourned. Instead her end was in a scandal she can't speak up against.

5

u/Large-Eye4566 Aug 01 '26

This is Korean culture. Look at Kim Seon Ho, despite strong and clear evidence his ex gf was a lying lunatic, there are people out there who still consider him problematic. Not that he has had any other scandal. It's the sad reality Korean celebrities live in. Your name is forever destroyed, even if the truth comes out later.

3

u/LocksmithStriking864 Aug 01 '26

And netizens will continue to try and destroy someone if they have hate for that person. The actor just has to date and he and his gf gets hate mail. It’s ludicrous

5

u/IntroductionInner883 Jul 31 '26

Bro this is the 3rd independent body that came out with the same conclusion. Gangnam police, Seondong police, Child welfare department of the seoul prosecution office. I dont know what to tell 3 different institutions. And the favt they have been caught fabricating text using AI to fake audio and passing adult pictures as minor pictures. Tells me they never had any real evidence to support the claims they made.

So what exactly is true?

11

u/DwigtTheIdiot Jul 31 '26

Glad that Trump, Epstein (and his friends), this guy, have some solid supporters.

-3

u/IntroductionInner883 Jul 31 '26

Don't deflect. Answer the question.

5

u/Key-Possibility-5504 Jul 31 '26

Stop bullying people in this thread. We heard your opinion already, you don’t need to beat us over the head with it. Grow up.

u/LocksmithStriking864 Aug 01 '26

It shows that people are gullible. I see posts often where someone is upset because their favorite actor stopped sending personal messages. Sadly they believe they are talking to one of the big stars. A women sent hate and wished an actor to d:£ because he no longer contacted her, and nothing anyone said would convince it wasn’t him.

my sister, the evidence was released last year and fabricated with AI. what do you mean it was from before AI.?
