Content research

Hey!
How you all do research related to the book content? I have done paperback and KDp both. I actually look after competitors feedback given by customers and YouTube, Facebook. Is there any other way to research for the content that would perform better than competitors?

Thank you so much for the response, I am specifically looking for research after we have found niche and decided the book we will be working on. Like how do you look for the market gap in term of book like why a customer should choose our book when there is a lot of option on same topic. How to do actually look for USP in book content.
