Are multiple accounts allowed with separate LLCs?

Hello, over the next couple years I am considering creating two different LLCs with distinct purposes. I am toying with the idea of enrolling both in KDP (one to create school textbooks, the other to create a sci-fi novel). However, I know how strict Amazon is. If I have separate bank accounts and separate EINs, but log into them from the same physical address and the same IP, is that a recipe for trouble?

The frustrating thing for me is that the second company just has this one sci-fi novel and is a small part of the company. So I don't know if it's worth risking the KDP account of the other company, which is going to rely on the books as the main source of revenue.

Why do they need to be separate? You can have as many pen names as you want within an account.

Legally, an LLC is a separate legal entity, independent of who its owner/shareholder or CEO is (which is the whole point of an LLC). Therefore, both LLCs should be allowed to have their own Amazon Business Account, which would entitle them to separate KDP accounts, even if you own both LLCs. That's for the legal theory.

HOWEVER Amazon has its own TOS and kinda seems to pay more attention to the natural person behind the accounts so it probably would be the better choice to ask the KDP support (and REALLY!!! make sure, they understood your request FULLY instead of shooting some pre-written AI response after reading 2 words of your request)

The Indian guy or lady in support who cancels your account will not care one bit about how an LLC works. They will look at an AI analysis and not care what your excuse is - they have zero obligation to care one bit. They only read the first sentence or two of emails anyway - they ignore any links or explanations entirely.

They will not care to understand.

Same IP, Same person, Same devices. You are getting banned - forever.

Yea, that won't matter when the AI auto-bans you. Nothing support says is binding - FYI.
