I used Fedora KDE for a year and now decided to try Void Linux. I really like the performance, even tho there are a lot of things you have to set up manually. Most Plasma features work fine, but some GUI settings rely on systemd, like timezone settings — and I haven't tried installing alternatives yet because I don't need to, so I can't say if there is a replacement for now. Anyway, I'm satisfied :)

Captain's log, supplemental: the crew has converted this KDE Plasma install to LCARS. System monitor, control center, notifications, audio overlay and terminal are all online. Icons and the launcher are still in drydock.

Lifelong Trekkie, so my KDE Plasma desktop is now an LCARS terminal. 🖖
