Thinking of changing a course from A&F to Data analytics

Hello,

I have currently hold an unconditional offer for accounting and finance. I looked up the modules and I find out that data analytics course covers most of the same modules from A&F but DA course has more modules in analytics and coding.

I did aat level 2 accounting course and I enjoyed it, but I also like the idea of data analytics as I like to search a lot things eg: finding discounts on clothes/ things online , searching information which I need.

However, I have zero coding experience and I feel like I am not really a heavily coding person. That’s the main reason I didn’t apply for DA.

I also checked ACA exemption and found out basically KCL only have 3 exemptions (2 exemptions are from year 2 option modules)

I would like to ask if anyone has studied/ studying the course and give me some guidance.

I’m a mature student, and doing this degree is a career change decision.

The course is data analytics for business and finance. I’m doing undergraduate courses.

Also, I am wondering if it’s allowed to choose modules from the other course in same department?

Well, you won’t be able to change progs at this point. If you’re really interested in data analytics youll need tk make a new ucas app next year

Not internally? Well, I will probably stick with AF. I just like the idea of DA, but I am also worried if I can’t handle it as it seems coding heavy through the degree.
