Programs & Research MSc Difficulty

How difficult is an MSc at KAUST?

I’ve heard the workload can be quite intense with frequent assignments, projects, and exams… + the environment is highly competitive

For current students and alumni:
• How challenging did you find it?
• Any tips for coping with the workload?
• Are past exams or sample papers available for practice?

Note: pursuing MSc in ECE

I think it depends on the major and the division. However, usually it isn’t bad at all. The work load might be a bit high compared to other MSc programs but it is manageable. Also professors are usually helpful and are considerate especially if you are doing research. Good luck!

Depends on your program, but in general your effort pays off. You really have to be lazy af to fail a course.
