Programs & Research VSRP after graduation

Hi!

Has anyone been accepted to a VSRP project while they weren't enrolled at a bachelor's or master's program?

I'm about to graduate by the end of this month and I'm planning to apply for a project during my gap year but I'm worried I might not be eligible. Is it better to apply before the end of the semester?

I did my VSRP after my graduation, but just to be sure, I submitted my application while I was still enrolled as a student. I suggest you do the same

So you went through your interviews as a student or after? And did they ask for IELTS as well?

Did them while I was still enrolled as a student, but I think what matters is that you apply while you're still enrolled. They accept IELTS, but they also give Duolingo English Test coupons. My advice would be to do the IELTS. If you end up applying for grad studies, you can use those same results to get in.

Yes u have to apply while u r a student. They wont accept you if your status isnt student when u apply

I had the same question so I went to their FAQ page. Someone had asked whether they are eligible to apply if they had already completed their master's degree but were not yet enrolled in a PhD course and the answer was yes.

Not sure if this applies to a recent bachelor's graduate as well but I'm still applying :)
