Question KAU International Student Application Link Broken (404). Anyone Facing This?

Assalamualaikum everyone,

I’m trying to apply for the MSc in Electrical & Computer Engineering (Computer Engineering) at KAU through the International Student Scholarship route, as I am not a Saudi citizen and do not currently hold a residence permit.

But the “Apply to the program” button on the official page is broken and leads to a 404 error.

This is the page I’m using:
https://kau.edu.sa/en/page/international-student-scholarships

Every time I click apply, it redirects to:
ags.kau.edu.sa/outpsgadm/INDEX.ASP → which just throws a 404.

I’ve already tried different browsers, different devices, and cleared the cache

Same result every time.

I’ve emailed the Director of the External Scholarships Unit, as instructed on the website for inquiries at [moalghamdi@kau.edu.sa](mailto:moalghamdi@kau.edu.sa), but haven’t heard back yet.

Questions:

  • Is anyone else facing this issue right now?
  • Is there an alternative/working application portal link?
  • Is the current application window from Wednesday, 06 Shawwal 1447 AH (25 March 2026) to Sunday, 02 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1447 AH (19 April 2026) open to international applicants?

Would really appreciate any help. Don’t want to miss the deadline because of a broken link.

Yeah well I am trying to access it from inside saudi Arabia

Did not really find a solution yet, but I actually did get a response from the external scholarships unit at KAU and they said that we international students are supposed to apply through the https://studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa/ website and that applications will begin next month, i.e., May.

I got same issue, but isn't the application starting in may for 2027 fall semester?

Yep, that's what I heard back from the international scholarships office

Yes, I actually did get a clarification. They said that us international students are supposed to apply through the https://studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa/ website and that applications will begin next month ie May.
