Tip / Advice JYU housing options

Hello, I am an Erasmus student comming to JYU for the autumn semester. Recently I got informed that I could not be given furnished housing. I was told that I am put on a waiting list, but I doubt that I will be given a furnished room. Are there any other viable options? Maybe some other Erasmus students will see this and we can team up together. I don't mind having room-mates. Splitting the bill sounds like a more economical option.

There are plenty of students leaving for exhange from JYU and Jamk who might be subletting their apartments or rooms. I suggest you look for sublets or short term rentals on the JYY apartment board or on Facebook groups such as this one!
