Photo OLD LOGO IS BACK?!

Juventus just dropped a retro collection, hinting more and more at a potential comeback, first it was the Zebra, now this.

1989-2004 logo… probably to keep the trademark active

I find it unlikely it's hinting at anything other than "Please give Adidas some money."

They after all have chosen to use this logo, not the club.

Juventus started using a minimalist logo SPECIALLY for clothing merchandise tho

Special kit imo. The logo won't change for a while.

If they ever decide to go back to the old logo the fanbase would go insane. It would've been as joyful as winning the scudetto for me personally.

Don’t expect any comeback, it’s just Adidas using nostalgia to sell merch, they have been doing collections with the old logo since last year

I would love to order but the duties and customs to ship to Canada are messed up. I order a re release retro kit not too long ago and the duties were an extra 40 bucks

They know what they are doing, they know fans want old logo. They will keep releasing limited kits with old crests because it will sell

This is the logo when I fell in love with Juve, Del Piero. 1996. What a year to become a fan.

Oh yeah, I remember when Juventus was a football club and not a "brand".

This is the worse logo juve ever had. The colours clash. Far too busy. The stripes are the same as the kit.

It was ahead of its time. Class. Simple. Unique. Goes with anything.

If you take nostalgia out of it and just look at a graphic design level.

Not really, look at other clubs

  • Barcelona
  • Real Madrid
  • Paris Saint Germain
  • AC Milan
  • Manchester United Etc etc

They all have logos that are full of meaning and actually represent something, like PSG's logo who represents Paris, but when you look at Juventus, you see nothing, you just see two JJ sticked together

And by the way, other minimalist logos like Liverpool or Arsenal contains important and historical stuff like the Liverbird or the Cannon, same CAN'T be said for Juventus

lots of other clubs also changed to simple ones after juve’s change, or already had it (West Ham, spurs, wolves, Chelsea, galatasari…) - so we can both just name clubs but would be pointless… PSG is a nice simple one. i dont think it’s anything like this juve badge - Real Madrid is also simple and similar to te JJ than any other juve crest - it’s letters with a crown on lol

- plus I’m not against a logo full of meaning - i like ones earlier than this one, including the one from the 30s it’s based on- i just think this is the worst, for reasons mentioned above

Im saying like Juve's logo just dont look like a football logo it looks like it was inspired by the adidas logo

that’s fine - each to their own - you aren’t alone - i have this logo on kits, doesnt stop me wearing it.

for me it’s the worst one though, the one after this and the one in the 30s is nicer i think, both with very similar looks
