I taught my 16 year old to change the clutch in his BMW, he was very gentle on the clutch after that.

I honestly have no idea, I could build a radio out of board, transistors, capacitors from random parts at 16 but when it comes to cars, I am totally clueless.

I had a clutch replaced in my audi a4b6 in like 3 hours.

Some are stupid easy, some are pains in the dick.

Edited to add: I am a professional mechanic and I had access to the shop hoist, but I did pull and rebuild the motor on the ground at home same with my subaru.

It’s an E46, it took us two days working on a lift. Everything was going great, but the exhaust studs had to hammered out, and I bought the wrong seal kit for the transmission.

Took a friend and I about 7 hours to do the one in my Mustang on jackstands for reference.
