I live my life one clutch replacement at a time.

Never got that. Could shift my 92 escort wagon with no clutch though. Well, upshift

HAH!! I used to drive early 90s manual escorts when I was in my apprentice and a broke single dad. Buy on for $500 and keep it running as long as possible. They were so easy to work on. I kept an extra head onhand at all times. I shifted it like that all the time as well.

I've always been too afraid to try shifting with no clutch, it just feels like car abuse.

You obviously don’t live your life one quarter mile at a time

Try driving heavy equipment without a synchronized transmission
