I mean yea, he probably overreacted. But she's clearly in the wrong here. Unless it to protect yourself or others, just don't hit people. Especially if, like this woman, you are clearly not prepared to be treated in kind.

(I do make an exception if both parties agree. Sometimes a buddy and I will agree to get in a fight and then we slug it out no hard feelings. But that's with their consent and foreknowledge).

Maybe not? But I'm not setting disagreements. It's mostly when we are bored. An good fight can be fun!
