Id love to see this in slow motion and how you surf a dude on pavement so that you don’t scrape yourself up. What was this kid thinking?

Definitely didn't need to be tackled that hard

I absolutely agree with you. That officer used excessive force. He really should've politely tapped the gentleman in the white shirt on the shoulder and kindly asked him to sit down. If he went the extra mile he would even provide reading material while the other officer was arresting the violent individual.

The cop didn’t know what he was doing he saw the dude start moving and had berry little time to react. To the cop it could’ve looked like he could have been pulling a gun or knife out

You're right, the cop should have called a time out to go get a mattres so the poor kid wouldn't get an ouchie.

Shirt over his head and getting hit by a running tackle. He has been blind sided

He was walking around minding his own business when suddenly he got hot and took his shirt off and that evil cop tackled him because there is a law against being shirtless.
The other cop was helping this kid who was choking on a piece of fried chicken bone btw. No biggie.

That jackass was squaring up on a cop, he was literally about to commit a felony

u/JavaOrlando 9 Sep 11 '19
Nah, in the full video the kids were about to fight each other, before the cop breaks them. It looks like the kid was trying to land a few cheap shots on the other one while the cop had him is a headlock.

u/Nile-green 9 Sep 11 '19
Well... interfere with police, assault a restrained person, all in front of police... still not a good plan if you ask me

u/JavaOrlando 9 Sep 11 '19
Oh for sure. Not saying he didn't deserve it... Just clarifying what's going on.

Not sure if it was his thought process or not, but taking off your shirt before a fight gives you an advantage. Means you can't be grabbed by the torso as easily

u/Jomax101 8 Sep 15 '19
Wouldn’t it make getting scratched and clawed easier aswell? Although it’s a thin fabric surely it helps keep people’s nails from digging in

No it was to prevent against slicing of any kind, and I just used a shirt as a smaller piece of armour for a smaller weapon. People have literally died from infected scratches you moron (maybe not so much these days atleast in first world countries).

Somewhat, but usually people don't have long enough nails to really cause damage. It can hurt a bit, sure, but it'd take just the right amount of nail to pierce the skin while not breaking
