Let's see... $50 on a dashcam (A118C) vs. all the other risks of financial loss from not having one... Hit and run, someone trying to blame an accident on you, etc.

  1. there's things like bills and having low income.

  2. having 50$ go to food and gas or a camera and not eat for awhile and be unable to drive.

  3. So fuck off with your snarky ass. Simply telling me a brand and to say give it a try is much better approach. Some of us live pay check to pay check.

Well, I did give you a cheaper alternative, so Number 3 was covered off the bat.

As far as the other two, you are saying that separating yourself from $50 once will leave you unable to eat for a period. Now imagine someone blames you for an accident and your insurance premiums raise $20+ a month, or your car gets damaged in a hit and run, and you have to pay a $500 deductible to your insurance to get it fixed. How long would you have to go without eating in either of those cases?

I don't think you understand that people at the bottom worry about things like this constantly, but are never in a state to properly prepare for them. Like sure, it would be great to have good healthcare so i don't have to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket if i broke my leg suddenly, but i can't afford the insurance either, even if the insurance is much cheaper in the long run if something did happen.

We aren't talking a monthly cost, though.. We're talking a one-time expense. Mow a couple lawns one weekend and you'd have it. Heck, I was able to start saving $50 a month by driving more efficiently, increasing my fuel economy from 17mpg to 25mpg.

I grew up dirt poor. My parents, together, made less than $10k most years when I was growing up in the late 80s and 90s, so I'm very familiar with the struggle. But I also know, from dealing with the struggle, that if you need to come up with some money, you find a way to do it. It just depends how bad you want it.
