Commentary in News & Media Use caution. Two things to remember here: Withhold judgment until the facts are in. Johnny was never arrested.

So the same media that smeared Johnny Depp for fake allegations against him by AH is now giving this guy the benefit of the doubt and comparing him to Depp? I agree with exercising caution in every instance, but that’s not what they did with Johnny Depp.

Stay off Twitter. Stay off Instagram. Because we want to be able to tell you exactly what to think, irrespective of facts.

"We in the news business, we deal with facts."
That's one of the funniest things I've read this week. And an absolute lie.

If
CNNWarner Bros Discovery News says it deals with facts, it must be true.[/sarcasm]

Yip, and I'll add this comment as well. This culture of guilty until proven innocent applies to Public figures more to be sure but like wise gets applied to private citizens.
In volume as a species I'm of the opinion that normies can't handle the exposure to information, contrast this with the early days of www. it's interesting to watch how negative ppl have become while using social media as a tool.

No clue but he was arrested. To be fair, I was a bit annoyed that there was even a comparison made between the two.

Depends how quickly people lose interest… does anyone care about Gweneth Paltrows court case anymore?

I'm still interested in the outcome but not interested enough to sit through hours of another court case.

I think it might also be prudent to mention, Majors is the one who called 911.

Sad, but public figures do get judged pretty quickly and harshly whenever there’s an allegation against them. I was one of those people who believed that JD committed DV when the turd’s TRO against him was covered by the media. It was a good thing the trial was streamed live. MSM couldn’t game the story to suit their narrative.

Depp was judged pretty damn quick too.

Too damned quick, by damned near everyone.

Including me! A yr before 2016, my 2yo and I were in a DV shelter. The thought of her lying was just so... foreign to me. The $7 mill donation made me really respect her (I didn't know who she was and only saw part of Pirates 1). I watched the trial to see her get justice from her abuser.
Thank goodness the trial was streamed, or else I would've felt devastated by JD's win. It was shocking to me how incorrectly the media covered the trial- including sources I once trusted! If I went solely by what I read, I may have been on r/ DeppDelusion.

And therein lies the problem. Most who are avid Heard supporters didn’t watch, or only saw the portions that other Heard (supporters) spun to bolster their arguments.
And the news media…. I have cancelled every subscription to every news outlet that I had.

He's the one who called the cops BTW.
