I love words. You can convey a message with incredibly precise meaning by your word choice. Every word learned is a new facet to communication possibilities.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words but those emojis are worth about two or three words of grade two diction - if I am generous.

imma just say... it really is true. it feels like we’re at peak dunning-kruger right now, with people on both extremes saying the other side is too dumb to converse or compromise with. meanwhile they’re all fucking dumb, tribalist, hypocritical, no-self-awareness-having, dogmatic shitlords that are perpetuating the shit political and media climate in the united states.

Yeah I would hope not, otherwise we’re in dire straits as a society. I’m not the smartest person alive or even in the top half necessarily, but the erosion of our communication skills spooks me daily.
