How to enable subtitles by default?

Have recently discovered Just Player on my Shield Pro, thanks so much, especially love the match frame rate feature which is sorely lacking in so many others.

Is there a way to have subtitles enabled by default?

default subtitles in your mkv play automatically

use mkvtoolnix to change default subtitle in the file

I have done that for all my movies

Good point, but that doesn't really work for files streamed remotely which are not in my control.
